Are you feeling the January blues? Here are some of our favourite smoothie recipes to be healthier in the new year!
Red Berry Smoothie:
Ingredients
- 150ml Cranberry juice
- 1 Small punnet of fresh Raspberries
- 75ml Semi skimmed milk
- 150g Plain yoghurt
- 1 tsp Clear honey
Equipment
- Hand Blender
- Measuring jug
- Cup or glass to serve
Method
Place all the ingredients into the blender cup and blend until all of the ingredients are combined then pour into glasses or store until ready to drink.
Mango & Banana Smoothie:
Ingredients
- ½ Ripe banana peeled and roughly chopped
- ½ Ripe mango peeled, roughly chopped and de-stoned
- 250ml Fresh orange juice
- ½ Vanilla pod scrapped
Equipment
- Hand Blender
- Measuring jug
- Cup or glass to serve
Method
Place the banana, mango, orange juice and the seeds from the vanilla pod into the blender cup and blend until smooth.
Green Smoothie:
Ingredients
- ½ Ripe banana peeled and cut into chunks
- 50g White seedless grapes
- 100g Plain yoghurt
- ½ Apple cored and cut into chunks
- 50g Fresh watercress leaves washed
- 1 tsp Runny honey
Equipment
- Hand Blender
- Measuring jug
- Cup or glass to serve
Method
Place all of the ingredients into the blender cup and blend until smooth, you may need to add a little milk and re-blend to help mix and obtain the required consistency.
