Your Wahl Clipper and Trimmer blades are oiled and aligned before leaving our factory, however it is possible for the blades to get bumped out of alignment.

Clipper Blade 2161-400 2 Hole Blade

If you have a 2 Hole Blade that is crooked or misaligned, follow these five steps below to get your blade on the right track!

Step 1.

Slightly loosen both blade screws, just enough to be able to shift the blade. Make sure to move the blade adjustment lever to the full forward position.

Step 2.

Step 2 - Bade Alignment
Align bottom blade with the top blade. Points of the top blade teeth should be 8mm to 1.6mm back and parallel to the points of the bottom blade teeth. This is important so the clipper doesn’t cut too close or allow the moving top blade (the moving cutter) to touch the skin.

Step 3.

Step 3 - Bade Alignment
Ensure the extreme left-hand tooth of the top blade must be covering first small tooth of the bottom blade. Extreme right-hand tooth of top blade must be touching the big tooth on the bottom blade.

Step 4.

After blade is aligned, tighten the screws of the 2 Hole Blade .

Step 5.
Plug clipper in and turn the switch on and off a couple of times, and then recheck alignment of blades.
