Style Guide – Spiral Curls

Take a small section of hair and wrap it around the barrel of the tong.

Start at the root (near your scalp) and spiral the hair around the barrel all the way to the ends. For tighter curls, wrap the hair closely together.

Hold the hair in place for about 8-12 seconds, depending on your hair type and the heat setting.

Carefully release the curl from the tong. Avoid pulling or brushing it out right away to keep the shape intact.

Work your way through the rest of your hair, curling one small section at a time.

Alternate the direction of your curls (wrap some clockwise and some counter-clockwise) for a more natural, voluminous look.

Gently finger-comb or shake out the curls if you want a softer look, or leave them tight for defined spirals.

Tight Ringlets

Take a small section of hair and wrap it tightly around the barrel from root to tip.

Hold for 8-12 seconds, then carefully release the curl.

Repeat for each section, keeping the sections small for tighter ringlets.

Let the curls cool completely before touching them.

Use your fingers to separate the ringlets gently if needed.

Finish with hairspray to set the curls.

Smooth Curls

Start with clean, dry hair, and apply heat protectant spray. For extra sleekness, smooth out your hair with a flat iron if needed.

Divide your hair into sections, working from the bottom up, and clip the rest out of the way.

Take a 2-3 inch section of hair, clamp the tong at mid-length (not the ends), and wrap the hair flat around the barrel.

Hold the hair in place for 8-10 seconds, then carefully release it, letting the curl cool in your hand for a moment.

Continue curling, alternating directions (some clockwise, some counterclockwise) for a more natural flow.

Once all sections are curled, let the curls cool completely before touching them.

Finish with a small amount of smoothing serum or shine spray for a polished, glossy finish.

25mm – Glam Curls

Begin with clean, dry hair, and apply a heat protectant spray. Blow-dry your hair smooth for a sleek base.

Section your hair into layers, starting from the bottom, and clip the rest away for easier styling.

Use a medium to large-barrel curling tong (1–1.5 inches) to achieve those glamorous, voluminous curls.

Take 1-inch sections of hair and wrap them around the barrel, starting close to the roots and rolling away from your face. Hold for 8-10 seconds.

Release the curl gently and let it cool completely to set its shape. Repeat for all sections.

Once finished, brush through the curls with a boar-bristle brush to create smooth, soft waves.

Apply a volumizing or shine-enhancing spray to add luster and bounce.

Set the look with a flexible-hold hairspray to keep the curls in place without stiffness.

32mm – Beach Waves / Loose Curls

Start with dry, heat-protected hair, and add a lightweight texturizing spray for grip.

Divide your hair into sections, starting from the bottom, and clip away the top layers only.

Use a curling tong with a longer barrel (1–1.25 inches) for soft, natural-looking waves.

Take 1-2 inch sections and wrap them around the barrel, leaving the ends out for a more undone, beachy vibe. Hold for 6-8 seconds.

Alternate curling directions (some toward your face, some away) to create a relaxed, tousled look.

Let the curls cool completely, then gently rake your fingers through to break them up.

Spritz with sea salt spray or a texturizing spray for added texture and volume.

Finish with a light mist of flexible-hold hairspray to lock in the waves without weighing them down.
