FAQs

Yes, you can use the double sided soft brush which gives you a soft side for coat brushing as well as a bristly side that still has gentle pins for debris removal.

Yes, our Wahl brushes are designed to be gentle enough to groom dogs of all ages.

Yes – if your pet’s fur is matted you should use a slicker brush, but first making sure to spray detangler on the matted area or rub in a little conditioner or coconut oil. This should loosen the area before trying to brush away any tangles.

A slicker brush has fine, wire bristles and is used to remove mats, tangles, and loose fur—it’s best for dogs with medium to long or curly coats. A bristle brush, on the other hand, has soft natural or synthetic bristles and is better for smoothing short-haired coats and spreading natural oils, but it won’t help much with tangles or mats.

Wahl brushes are all waterproof, so once you are done, run the brush under warm water and move as much of the hair debris away as possible.
