Please note that this clipper has a 80 watt motor and while this is suitable to do full and partial clips, this will depend on how thick your horses coat is. For horses with coats like a cob we would recommend going slowly to allow the blades to do the work.

The Wahl Avalon horse clipper provides 2.5 hours of quiet, low vibration clipping powered from a separate battery pack. Perfect for use around young or nervous animals, it fits comfortably in the operator’s hand and is easy to manoeuvre in those difficult to reach areas.

Powerful enough for full body clips, hogging manes and removing feathers this product is highly versatile and offers calm, stress free clipping.

Wahl ‘cool running’ snap on Competition Blade system eliminates the need for blade alignment and tensioning and ensures ease when cleaning, oiling, and changing the blades. Precision ground from High Carbon Stainless Steel these Competition Blades are manufactured with a corrosion inhibitive finish to prevent rusting. The superior tooth geometry ensures exceptional feeding of the hair providing reliable, consistent cutting performance.

Fully recharged in just 3 hours, this machine is ideal when electricity is not readily available or when it may be beneficial to take the clippers to the horse, without the worry of a mains cable.
