As a ‘Barber of the Year’ Hall of Famer, ‘Hairdresser of the Year’ winner and three times winner of ‘Afro Barber of the Year’, Michael Damiano consistently pushes the barbering boundaries.

Michael has dedicated his career to barbering, managing a full column of clients by the age of 16 to owning and running the famous Image Barber Shop, now Michael continues his family legacy through Damiano Hair, his high-street salon in Bedford. It has been a ground-breaking career for Michael as he became the first name to be engraved on the coveted ‘Barber of the Year’ Bill Tildsley Cup, the first male barber to be listed on the famous Guillaume Guglielmi sculpture as ‘Hairdresser of the Year’ and more recently, L’Oreal’s Eastern Region Men’s Colour trophy winner.

Michael’s unique talent has made him one of the most sought-after barbers. His success continues as he showcases energetic industry leading skills alongside the Wahl Artistic Team at global exhibitions, seminars and courses.
