Reporting directly to the eCommerce Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing high-performing campaigns across Google, Bing, Amazon AMS, Argos, and Boots.

 

Job Description

We’re seeking a talented Search Optimisation Officer to join our eCommerce team and spearhead our paid search efforts. Reporting directly to the eCommerce Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing high-performing campaigns across Google, Bing, Amazon AMS, Argos, and Boots. Your meticulous planning, data-driven approach, and optimisation expertise will be instrumental in driving customer acquisition and propelling our digital marketing strategy to new level. This is a great opportunity to:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive PPC campaigns across diverse platforms such as Google, Amazon and Argos
  • Leverage market insights such as Google analytics, Cobolt 2.0 and nectar360 and campaign performance data to optimise strategies and maximize return on investment.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in developing and managing successful PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Amazon AMS, Argos Nectar360, Bing, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage market insights (Google Analytics, Cobolt 2.0, Nectar360) and campaign data to optimise performance and maximise ROI.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to create and structure PPC campaigns from conceptualisation to launch and optimisation.
  • Familiarity with PPC platforms, data analysis tools (Excel, Google Data Studio), and campaign management dashboards.
  • Ability to craft compelling ad copy that resonates with target audiences and drives clicks.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the eCommerce Marketing Manager, design team, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • Create and construct PPC campaigns, including crafting compelling ad copy, primarily on Google Ads, Amazon AMS, and Argos to drive customer acquisition.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to continuously audit and systematically enhance campaign results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Oversee all aspects of paid search campaigns, encompassing keyword research, ad copywriting, bidding strategies, search term analysis, and optimising landing pages. This includes platforms like Google Ads, Bing, Creatio, Argos Nectar360, eBay and Amazon.
  • Collaborate with our in-house design team to create eye-catching display banners and advertisements.
  • Continuously optimise campaigns to meet agreed-upon revenue & ROAS.
  • Monitor daily spend on paid campaigns to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough competitor research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and make informed decisions.
  • Generate regular reports using Excel to demonstrate the impact of your work. This includes weekly and monthly reports, as well as ad-hoc reporting as needed.
